What is the date and location of the conference?
The Sarajevo Security Conference 2025 will take place from September 26 to 28. The conference will begin on Friday, September 26 at 09:00 with opening remarks at Hotel Movenpick, followed by a full day of panels and sessions.
The official gala opening ceremony will be held that evening at Sarajevo City Hall (Vijećnica). Guest arrival at Vijećnica is expected from 17:00, and the formal program will begin at 18:00.
The working program of the second and third day of the conference (September 27 and 28) will take place at Hotel Movenpick, Sarajevo, starting each day at 09:00.

What are the start and end times for each day?
September 26, 2025 – The conference opens at 09:00 with opening remarks at Hotel Movenpick. The working program continues throughout the day until approximately 17:00, followed by transport to Sarajevo City Hall for the gala opening ceremony. Guest arrival at Vijećnica is expected from 17:00, with the official ceremony beginning at 18:00.
September 27 and 28, 2025 – The working program will run from 09:00 to approximately 18:00 at Hotel Movenpick, including panels, roundtables, and breaks. Each day will start with guest arrivals from 08:30 to 09:00.
How do I register for the conference?
The Registration tab is available on our website and takes you to an Eventbrite form where you can secure your registration. Upon completing your registration, you will receive your e-tickets via Eventbrite at the email address provided. However, our organizing team must still validate your attendance.
Kindly wait for an additional email from our team confirming your attendance. You can use your tickets to attend the conference only after receiving this confirmation email. Please be aware that the ticket itself is not a confirmation of attendance.
Is there a registration deadline?
The registration deadline is September 20th, but the guest number is limited. We encourage you to fill out the registration form as soon as possible.
What is the conference’s theme or main focus?
The Sarajevo Security Conference 2025 is centered on “Reframing Europe’s New Security Architecture.” This year’s conference will explore the evolving geopolitical landscape of Europe, focusing on strategic coordination, democratic resilience, and responses to emerging security threats including hybrid warfare and authoritarian influence. Through expert panels and discussions, the conference aims to foster new approaches to regional and transatlantic security challenges, emphasizing cooperation and innovative strategies to strengthen Europe’s security framework in a rapidly changing world.
Who are the keynote speakers?

Is there a registration fee?
There is no registration fee for the Conference. However, the Organizing Team does not cover travel or accommodation expenses for participants of the event, with the exception of speakers and panelists.
What is the cost of attending the conference?
Participants traveling to the conference are expected to cover their travel and accommodation expenses.
Is this event invitation only?
The event registrations are open to all and are evaluated at the organizers' discretion. All guests will receive a notification of their registration status no later than September 5th. Should you require the information on the status of your registration before that, to book your accommodation and travel – please contact us via projectmanager@sarajevosecurityconference.com and we will give you an update regarding your application status. Guests that are not on the participants list will not be allowed to attend.
Are accreditations required for this conference?
Accreditations are required for journalists reporting from the Conference. Guests that are not on the participants list will not be allowed to attend.
Where can I pick up my conference badge and materials?
Conference badges will be handed out to all participants that were either directly invited or received an approval of their registration at the opening ceremony in the Hotel Movenpick.
Are meals included in the conference registration?
The organizers provide a cocktail reception for all guests of the opening ceremony, as well as a lunch at Hotel Movenpick during the working program of the conference.
How can I see the schedule of sessions and workshops?
A detailed agenda will be provided to all confirmed participants via email no later than September 15th.
